One of the great things about living in the Hin Lek Fai area of Hua Hin is that there are many great places to eat without having to go all the way into town. Here are some great suggestions for dinner, lunch and snack stops.
The Lodge
A new restaurant nestled in the heart of Hin Lek Fai which focuses on fine dining and great service. The Lodge offers a diverse menu that caters to both Western and Thai palates. With a wide variety of dishes to choose from, ranging from classic Western staples to authentic Thai delicacies, the menu delivers an exceptional culinary experience. Each dish is meticulously crafted using the finest ingredients, resulting in flavours that are both harmonious and bold. Whether it was my perfectly seared steak, or, the fragrant Thai curry. A notable highlight for me was the Negroni.
Black Mountain Golf Club
Black Mountain golf club is a great place to eat great, affordable food with spectacular views of the golf course. Black mountain is considered Hua Hin’s premier golf course which hosts events from the Asian tour. The food and the service reflects this and I think it’s great value for money. A highlight is the fajita combo.
Pane and Focaccia
Pane and Focaccia is an Italian Deli located on the Palau Rd coming out of town. Their fresh produce is amazing, freshly made breads, cold meats and cakes are all on offer. It’s also a great place to stop for lunch with a whole host of salads and sandwiches plus some great Italian dishes. They also have some great wines. Well worth a lunch stop.
Terra @ Baan Phu Thara
Of course, we also have Terra, which is now open at Baan Phu Thara. As well as being a great meeting spot for the residents it’s also open to the public. Terra is an artisan eatery which offers great salads, burgers, wraps as well as Thai food and some great health concious smoothies. A great place to stop for a sauna, ice bath and refreshments.
