Recently, I’ve been experiencing a lot of negativity regarding the poor property market here with many people lamenting the strength of the baht. However; I can’t help but feel that this is the best time for a buyer to look for a property in our beautiful seaside town. Yes, the baht is strong but this also allows sellers plenty of room to negotiate. Many sellers here are heading back to Europe as their pensions / money are not going as far as they were (I could never give up this lifestyle but that’s another blog) and really just wish to sell their properties. Indeed selling a property for what it was bought for is generally considered to be a good result and when you take into consideration the exchange rate it makes for some great potential deals. Here are some examples of properties that now represent amazing value:
This 2 bedroom sea view condo: https://tchhuahinpropertyagent.com/property/great-2-bedroom-sea-view-condo/
This 3 Bedroom Pool Villa with guest house: https://tchhuahinpropertyagent.com/property/pristine-re-sale-on-completed-project/
This large 5 Bedroom property with mountain views: https://tchhuahinpropertyagent.com/property/5-bedroom-4-bathroom-pool-villa-with-358-sqm-living-area/
As with any re-sale property sellers are usually willing to negotiate somewhat so it’s currently really worth investigating.
